Manic Monday: Bathroom Armoire

Hi all, sorry for the long absence, sometimes life (and sometimes exhaustion, laziness, or wine and chocolate) get in the way of my blogging.  To help get me started off on the right foot each week I've decided to start a little series I'm going to call Manic Monday.  I so often find myself obsessing over some design element, detail, or idea for hours or days or weeks on end.  I figured given the amount of time I spend examining every aspect of whatever my current obsession may be I should probably be sharing it with all of you here.

This week I'm on the hunt for an armoire for our guest bath in order to store things like towels and toilet paper.  We also want it to serve double duty as a linen cabinet, this will open up space in one of the closets in our bedroom for more shoes and clothes!

Here is some pretty inspiration.

This built in here would be an absolute dream come true!

Here is what mine will look like in real life.  The Ikea Hemnes.  I'm thinking this will be the best fit for our bathroom, I like that it has covered storage on the bottom and glass doors on the top, this gives me room to hide some of the uglies and leaves opportunities for some great styling.

Here is another version of the Hemnes.  This one is all covered storage - no open styling opportunities, but it is much larger - will definitely hold comforters, pillows, sheets, etc., along with the bathroom necessities.  It may be just a tad too large - I'm definitely going to have to do some measuring and tape marking before I head out and actually make any purchases.

Either way, I think I'm definitely going to have to dress it up with some pretty hardware like this guy.

Any other ideas for great pieces for bathroom/linen storage?  I am definitely open to other items!

Happy Monday!
