Christmas Gift Wrap

I absolutely love pretty gift wrap.  There is something about giving or receiving a gift that is packaged beautifully that just makes me giddy.  Each year I try to coordinate my wrapping paper and ribbons with my homes Holiday decor.  So this year of course was aqua and green and I mixed in metallics of gold & silver.  Here is a look at the wrapped packages I gifted this year.

How about you, does the wrapping process bring you joy?  Any great sources for gift wrap, embellishments, and ribbon that you'd like to share?  I can never get enough!

Green, Aqua & Gold

So the color scheme for our Christmas table this year ended up being green, aqua & gold (if you couldn't tell from the title of this post).  This is probably my favorite table I've done for any of our Holidays/celebrations held in our home.  Here is a peek into our Christmas table.

I had so much fun putting this table together.  The paper confetti was cut using hole punches from card stock and gold glitter wrapping paper.  I loved the way the gold, green & aqua stood out against the white.  Did any of you do color schemes for your Christmas decor?  Any Holiday tables you'd like to share?  Hope you all had/having a Happy Holiday Season!

Oh, Christmas Table

So I insisted that this year we would not be hosting a Holiday in our home.  But I caved and we will be hosting 17 family members for Christmas day.  I really do enjoy having so many people we love eating, drinking, and having a merry time in our tiny, little condo.  My downfall is that I can't help but to have many ideas of grandeur.  So here are my Christmas Table inspiration photos for this year.

Trust me, I know these images probably seem all over the place in terms of style.  Some rustic, some with classic elements, and some very modern.  And really I'm hoping my table this year will be a little bit of each. I'm planning on a mix of aqua, chartreuse, gold, & white.  How many of your hosting?  Big plans for your Holiday tables?

Hello Chevron Seating

Have you seen this guy on Wayfair?

It's from the Jennifer Delonge line.  And I'm a little bit obsessed with it.  I think it would be amazing in an entryway or a breakfast nook or even one side of a dining table.  If you are not familiar with Jennifer Delonge, here is some of her work.

This children's room is one of my favorites.  An entire daybed covered in La Fiorentina?!

All images are via her site found here. And for more products check here and here.

Dream Real Estate

Are any of you real estate stalkers?  As much fun as it is walking around my neighborhood at night when you can get sneak peeks into the homes with their lights on, nothing gives you as good of a peek as photos for a home's listing.

Here's a home seen all around the blogosphere over the years which is now on the market (and whose sale even seems to be pending as I post this).  It is the home of J Crew's own Jenna Lyons.  The listing can be found here. And here are the photos.

Next up is a home in my own neighborhood and it is that of Bailey from Peppermint Bliss.  I hadn't found her blog until a few months ago but ever since I did I've been mildly obsessed with her taste and most definitely her home.  If you read her blog you know her and her family recently made a move to Texas and although I knew her former home was in Chicago and close to my own little city condo I didn't know exactly where until one day on a walk I ended up in front her lovely little turquoise door with the fox knocker.  I saw the for sale sign and as soon as I got home looked up the listing and here are the photos.  Here is the listing.
