Hello Storage Boxes

Dear Ikea, 

You have really outdone yourself on this one.

Oh, and they come in Navy too.

I am a person who loves the finer things in life (although most I cannot afford) so I truly appreciate Ikea and other stores that tend to offer great items at an equally great price.  The problem here is that they usually tend to lack a whole lot of charm - but Ikea has really turned that around with these storage boxes.  Not only the grasscloth look on these guys but adorable labels as well.  I haven't seen them in person yet but I'm thinking I need to head to my nearest Ikea asap and get my hands on some of these.

When I saw this image on pinterest yesterday I was completely enamored. I love everything from the brass bryant sconces, to the simple stone vanity, and most of all that ridiculously awesome tile. I immediately followed the image back to its source, New Ravenna. Almost everything they make is absolutely beautiful and can be found only in select retailers. I had seen a few of their tile patterns and bathrooms on sites in the past but never knew the original source and never would have thought so many beautiful items came from one place! Here are some more that really caught my eye.

Hello Pinterest

So, I know that I am way behind here - but I've finally started using pinterest. I've had an account for some time now but up until the last few days I have really only made short visits and used it to search for images. On Wednesday I started adding images I've had stored on my computer for some time to my account and I am officially hooked. For starters I think it's a great way for me to organize the mass amount of images I've saved over the last few years and it also makes saving images and their original sources so much easier. A few weeks ago I purchased 8 of the Colette Dining Chairs from Crate & Barrel off of craigslist. I got a ridiculous deal on the chairs and they were immediately picked up by the upholsterer. The chairs are getting dropped off today and I cannot wait to see them! I had my eyes on these chairs for quite a while but could not even fathom the $500 a chair price tag. I will hopefully be back tomorrow with some photos of my new dining friends!

Hello Parisian Guest Bath

At the end of my last issue of House Beautiful was one of the most glamorous bathrooms I've seen. The detail and the little bits of luxury throughout were just beautiful. I would love to be a guest in that home just to see this little gem for myself!
